The police have filed a criminal complaint against MR (66) from Plav on suspicion that he has begun building a structure on state-owned land in the Bajrovića katun in Zone II of the Prokletije National Park, the Police Directorate (UP) announced today.
He is suspected of the criminal offense of illegal occupation of land.
"Police officers of the Plav Security Department, in accordance with the national priorities of the Police Directorate in the fight against environmental crime, in cooperation and on the order of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Plav, prosecuted one person for illegal construction in the area of the national park. On suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of illegal land occupation, police officers filed a criminal complaint against MR (66) from Plav, who is suspected of having begun construction of a facility on state land in the village of Bajrovića katun in zone II of the Prokletije National Park in September 2025," the UP statement reads.
