Senior State Prosecutor Andrijana Nastić she said in July 2022 that her colleague who ordered the arrest of the bodyguards Aleksandar Mijajlović, It would have been better if she had not ordered the detention of that Podgorica resident, because she was her superior.
She does this just a month and nine days after she was promoted from the Podgorica Basic to the Higher State Prosecutor's Office, and after one of the alleged bosses of the so-called Grand Clan asked her for help because the police had disarmed and arrested his bodyguard. Mirko Lađić (42).
Lađić was arrested on July 10, 2022 in Podgorica, half an hour before midnight, on the order of the prosecutor on duty at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office (ODT) in Podgorica. Nastic worked at the Podgorica ODT until June 2 of that year, and on that day she was elected prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica.
The day after Lađić's arrest, Mijajlović sent a message to his cousin, prosecutor Nastic:
"Question, Mirko Lađić, he works for me, used to be a police officer. He went shooting yesterday from 16 pm to 18 pm, then stopped by a friend's house in Tološka (and his colleagues work together) for dinner and to sit with his wife and child. After that, he went home (he by car, and his wife went for a walk) and was stopped by the police in Studentska and arrested because he had a weapon with a permit on him. And he lives in Master, all within 300 meters... They're taking him to the ODT this morning... Can you ask anyone?", she received the message on the morning of July 11.
The prosecutor replies that she can and will call her colleague "who was on duty yesterday."
"I can, and as for this Lađić, I'll call my colleague who was on duty yesterday. In my opinion, there's nothing wrong with that. Where did he get the idea that he was carrying it without authorization, there's a rule that someone should go home immediately after shooting and keep it unfolded... But again, that would be a violation. If this is as you said, there's nothing wrong with that..."
A little later, he receives a call with feedback that Lađić had 13 bullets in his gun and that he was arrested at 11:30 p.m.... "He should have taken it apart... But again, I have nothing to do with that," the prosecutor insists.
Mijajlović then asks her for help: "See what can be done... Just don't keep him."
"Then the defendant Andrijana Nastic sent the following message to the defendant Aleksandar Mijajlović: 'Was it loaded... The gun... Let him provide proof that it was in the shooting range... I hope he doesn't keep it... It would be better for her... Because I am her superior now... He is being brought to her at 10 am."
Ten days later, on July 21, Nastic complained to Mijajlovic about a colleague who decided to accuse his bodyguard.
"Listen, I was really pissed off at this one this morning, I called her about Mirko... They're going to charge him for that, he says it's a clean act... He says he was carrying a gun for his dog, with 13 bullets at 23 p.m.... I don't think this can go to court, and what I recommend to him is that he find a lawyer."
On the same occasion, he contacted Mijajlović on August 3, 2022, informing him that there was no indictment yet.
"There's nothing yet for Mirko... We're waiting for the results from the Forensic, and the expert is on vacation today... So I'll follow up in September"...
Lađić was arrested on July 10, 2022 in Podgorica, and the Police Directorate announced at the time that he was deprived of his liberty by order of the State Prosecutor at the Podgorica State Prosecutor's Office - on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of illegal possession of weapons and explosives.
Secret data, media, elections...
The Special State Prosecutor's Office suspects the alleged criminal group gathered around Mijajlović of creating a criminal organization, abusing official position and disclosing secret information, as well as, among other things, influencing the exercise of citizens' voting rights by deciding on the duration of employment in companies associated with the criminal organization...
In that action, carried out on October 3, officers of the Special Police Department handcuffed Mijajlović, Prosecutor Nastic, the former head of the National Security Agency's counterintelligence service. Drago Spičanović, former chief of the Podgorica police Milovan Pavićević, police officer Vladan Lazović.
A few days later, the former defense minister and a member of parliament were also arrested. Predrag Boskovic.
By the decision of the investigating judge, Mijajlović and Spičanović were sent to detention in Skopje, Pavićević and Lazović were ordered to house arrest, and Nastic and Bošković were released to defend themselves from freedom. Special prosecutors suspect Mijajlović of directly forwarding to the media information he received from the accused officials of the public and secret police and prosecutor Nastic, in order to create public opinion, create a negative media image, and discredit politicians, church dignitaries and numerous individuals and dissenters, but also to destroy the security system.
SDT's evidence indicates that he repeatedly sent data, photographs, shared topics, as well as suggestions for interlocutors for articles, and ordered Milovan Pavićević, while he was the chief of police in Podgorica, when and how to send police statements.
The SDT is working to identify other alleged members of this organized crime group.
Disclosed intelligence and classified data
Special prosecutors suspect Prosecutor Nastić of passing classified intelligence and information to Mijajlović.
The numerous messages exchanged between the two show that Mijajlović's alleged criminal organization also had influence in the judiciary.
At the end of 2021, while she was still at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, Nastic informed Mijajlovic about the situation within that institution, as well as how everyone voted during the internal election of the acting head of the Podgorica State Prosecutor's Office.
Her task, according to the SDT, was to clarify and provide information on personnel decisions within the prosecutor's office, as well as information from the Podgorica ODT Collegium.
The messages show that she informed him about numerous cases in the ODT Podgorica, and after his promotion, about cases formed in the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica.
The SDT suspects that she was tasked with delivering information in Mijajlović's alleged criminal organization, and from the messages exchanged with the Podgorica resident, it appears that she also sent data obtained through secret surveillance measures during the investigation of the attempted murder when Ranko Radulović's son was wounded.
She, as the SDT believes, revealed secret information that Radulović was shot by Stefan Koprivica, the son of former police official Duško Koprivica.
“On November 30, 2021, the defendant Andrijana Nastić sent a message to the defendant Aleksandar Mijajlović with the following content: 'And I know all that and that's why I felt guilty... But do you understand that it's not pleasant to sit in the police for 2 hours without any need, that's why I was angry, Boričić is still gloating, I'm angry at the godfather, at everything... Get off your ass, brother, they would live in the countryside if they didn't have Bemax, everything is on their list...'”
She also told them about what was happening at the sessions at the Prosecutor's Office, and after one of them, Mijajlović told her to tune out and not listen to her colleague - "Because I'm afraid my film will fail and I'll call him."
From Mijajlović's messages sent to Nastić, it emerges that the head of the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica and the then Supreme State Prosecutor - Lepa Medenica and Dražen Burić - are aware of the developments and are proposing Nastić for promotion:
"Who the f*ck... Lepa and Dražen know about it," Mijajlović wrote to her, and Nastic replied:
"If it's not me, it'll be someone from Više.. And everyone is scared, you know, their ass is in a hole... Will this guy stay up there or not, so they don't know how to position themselves... they're waiting for the collegium in the morning... But they don't know that if they don't elect me, someone from Više will come, so they're weighing up with Boričić for sure... They have to declare by 11 am... And all the assholes... By 11 am, Lepin has to declare... Well, let them... Let them resent her... And the colleagues have to declare on this Lepin proposal, if they don't agree, someone from Više will, you understand that Dražen did everything legally to remove this guy... Now if he tries something, he'll probably struggle, that's a different story, but this is legally... Because he can't nominate himself... Neither can his colleagues. Since you have the boss Više who is asking us to declare on me as a deputy for 2022."
