The Berane police have filed a criminal complaint against D.Ć. (23) from Andrijevica, suspected of forging a document, the Police Directorate said.
It is alleged that the Berane police controlled D. Ć. and the vehicle he was driving.
"A check conducted by the Berane police determined that the license plates found on the vehicle did not belong to him," the statement said.
It is added that the prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Berane was informed of the incident and stated that D.Ć.'s actions constitute elements of the criminal offense of forgery of a document.
"A criminal complaint was filed against D.Ć. in the regular procedure, at the prosecutor's order," the police said.
