A woman from Nikšić AM (50) threatened the director of the Tivat Museum and Gallery, Danijela Đukić, for which she will be held liable for a misdemeanor, but not a criminal offense.
This was officially confirmed yesterday by "Vijesti" from the Police Directorate.
Director of the Public Institution Museum and Gallery Tivat Daniel DjukicOn October 8th, threats were made from a protected phone number due to the way he manages this institution.
The Civic List People Wins, of which Đukić is a member, then called on the competent authorities, the police and the prosecutor's office to which Đukić reported this incident, to react in accordance with their jurisdiction, sanction this incident and publicly announce the name of the person who made the threats.
"It would be a complete satisfaction to discover the instigators of this heinous act, in order to fuel our suspicions that behind everything are certain political forces in our city that regularly call for morality and the preservation of civil liberties," this political group, headed by the mayor of Tivat, announced at the time. Zeljko Komnenovic.
They noted that Đukić is "an honorable professional who, through her work and dedication, has improved the work of the institution she leads and has earned international recognition," and that GL Narod vijeđuje "stands by her and will not allow any smears or pressure to be put on her."
The Council of the Tivat Museum and Gallery also condemned the "anonymous attack on director Danijela Đukić" on October 9th.
"Such types of intimidation and threats are unacceptable in any society. We fully support Director Danijela Đukić and the competent authorities to fully investigate this case and punish those responsible," the Council of this municipal public institution announced at the time.
The threats made against the director of the Tivat Museum and Gallery were also condemned by other groups and parties from the Tivat political scene, as well as members of the Tivat Artists' Association, but the police have not officially announced to this day whether or not they have discovered the perpetrator.
When asked whether they had in the meantime determined who had threatened Đukić from the protected phone number in early October and what action had been taken in this regard, the Police Directorate told "Vijesti" that "police officers immediately informed the state prosecutor on duty at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor about the incident in question."
"The police and prosecutorial activities undertaken resulted in the identification of a female person AM (50) from Nikšić. After reviewing the case file, the state prosecutor stated that there were no elements of a criminal offense in the incident in question, after which police officers from the Nikšić Security Department will file a misdemeanor report against AM for committing a misdemeanor under Article 7 of the Law on Public Order and Peace - particularly impudent behavior," the Police Directorate told the newspaper.
According to unofficial information from "Vijesti", AM is the sister of a member of the Council of the Tivat Museum and Gallery. Milo Albijanić (Tivatska Akcija) who has been in bad relations and a personal conflict with the director of that public institution, Danijela Đukić, for a long time.
Until recently, Albijanić's wife was also employed at the Tivat Museum and Gallery.
