Podgorica police arrested two foreign citizens who are charged with 14 criminal offenses committed in the capital.

Acting on reports from citizens, police officers identified and then, on the order of the prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, arrested a Serbian citizen EH (46) and a North Macedonian citizen BS (39).

They are suspected of committing 13 aggravated thefts against individuals, business premises, a pharmacy and a hair salon in Podgorica, and stealing money from them, the Police Directorate announced.

Police searched the apartment and other premises in Tuzi used by BS and found clothing suspected of being used in the commission of criminal offences, as well as a small amount of marijuana.
