Two Azerbaijani citizens AA(43) and AC(30) were fined a maximum of 1.000 euros each for engaging in prostitution.

This is the decision of the judge of the Budva Minor Offences Court - Ulcinj department, Anka Rašović, confirmed to "Vijesti" by the president of that court, Marko Đukanović.

The police arrested them in early March because they rented an apartment in Ulcinj where they provided sexual services.

"On March 6th, at around 23:30 PM in Ulcinj, AA and AC engaged in acts that encouraged prostitution in an apartment they rented through Booking. They each took 50 euros from Baranin for providing sexual intercourse," Vijesti was told.

The Ulcinj police informed the Higher State Prosecutor's Office about the case, which stated that the actions of the foreign nationals did not constitute a criminal offense for which prosecution was being undertaken ex officio.

The police filed a misdemeanor charge against them for violating the Public Order and Peace Act.

As "Vijesti" was told, a decision on deportation will be made for two foreign citizens in separate proceedings before the Police Directorate.
