"Police officers quickly identified and located AK (25) from Rožaje, who, yesterday at around 15 p.m., is suspected of intentionally making contact with the injured person who was walking down the street with his vehicle, and who was knocked to the asphalt surface by the force of the impact, and then got out of the vehicle and struck the injured person several times with a wooden object - a bat - in the head and body area," the Police Directorate announced.
They add that after the criminal investigation was conducted and the information collected, by order of the state prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Bijelo Polje, AK was deprived of his liberty on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of attempted murder to the detriment of a fellow citizen.
