The State Prosecutor of the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Bijelo Polje, after questioning the suspect AK from Rožaje, ordered his detention for 72 hours due to reasonable suspicion that he had committed the criminal offense of attempted aggravated murder.
A disturbing video that has been shared on social media shows a man hitting another man standing against a concrete fence with his vehicle, then getting out and hitting him with a bat.
The criminal complaint states that on December 3rd in Rožaje, at around 14:50 p.m., the suspect AK attempted to kill the injured party AF by hitting him in the legs with a moving vehicle and pushing him against a concrete fence, after which he got out of the vehicle and hit the injured party several times in the head and body with a wooden stick, which he was prevented from doing by a passerby.
"In the further course of the proceedings, the necessary measures and actions will be taken in order to reach a decision in this case," the Supreme State Prosecutor's Office said.
