The bodies of two people, a woman and a man, were found earlier in an apartment on Peka Pavlovića Street in the center of Nikšić.
According to unofficial information from Television Vijesti, the murder is not related to a showdown between organized crime groups.

In accordance with legal authorization, police officers entered the interior of the apartment where they found the lifeless body of MP, as well as the lifeless body of MV (41) with visible injuries suspected to have been caused by the use of a cold weapon - a knife. The rented apartment was used by MV," reads a statement from the Police Department delivered earlier today.
The Police Department then added that the prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica was informed of the incident and conducted an on-site investigation with police officers.
