Suspected in a double murder in Nikšić, Lazar Vulević has been convicted several times for theft and robbery, and according to available data, the last time was in October 2014, when he was sentenced to eight years in prison by the Podgorica High Court for robbery and theft in Podgorica. The verdict was confirmed by the Court of Appeal.
The explanation states that on April 10, 2013, on Save Kovačević Boulevard, he took someone else's movable property from the injured party MM.
"In the way that in the 'Lido' restaurant, where he had previously been sitting as a guest, after leaving the restaurant, he returned to it a few minutes later, and at the moment when the injured party came out of the toilet, he grabbed her around the neck with his right hand and shouted 'take off your gold', and then with the other hand he took off four gold chains with pendants that she was wearing around her neck, after which he began to take off the rings from her hands. When she asked him why he was doing that, Vulević told her: 'Don't ask, just take off your gold, I'll kill you', after which she took off eight rings and handed them to him, and then he tore off a gold bracelet from her right hand, all worth a total of 3.265,50 euros. Then he went to the bar and took all the paper money he found from the glass container, in the amount of 60 euros. At the moment when VS and BG entered the restaurant, he left the restaurant telling the injured party: 'Don't report anything to the police because I'll kill you. "son and husband, tonight I saved you from death." By which he committed the crime of robbery," the court documents state.
It is alleged that on January 3, 2013, in Podgorica, on Oktobarske revolucije Street, in the "N" jewelry store, he looked at the jewelry that the seller had placed on the counter, after which he took advantage of the seller's inattention and took away a leather tray with gold chains, worth a total of 7.344,75 euros, and ran out of the jewelry store in an unknown direction.
"On June 25, 2013, at around 01:00, in Podgorica, in the premises of the Clinical Center of Montenegro, as a convicted person, he escaped by using force against a police officer. After being brought to the Criminal Center of Montenegro and the ZIKS, where he is serving his prison sentence, and due to medical assistance, while he was in the toilet with JI, he suddenly opened the toilet door with both hands and hit the injured party in the area of his right elbow, right side of his face and left knee, and then fled through the corridor of the Clinical Center and out through the exit of the Emergency Block. When JI caught up with him, he took out a metal object from his underwear and turned it in his direction, telling him: 'Get away, I'll kill you' and started running away again. And when JI caught up with him again, and a police officer SS arrived in an official vehicle, he surrendered to the named police officers. By which he committed a criminal offense escape of a person deprived of liberty".

For all criminal offenses, the Higher Court in Podgorica sentenced him to a single sentence of eight years in prison.
The convicted person, Vulević, who is a butcher by profession, has been previously convicted of various criminal offenses, starting in 1996, mostly by verdicts from basic courts.
He was given a single sentence of 12 years in prison for 20 convictions.
