Albanian citizen EA (55) was arrested on suspicion of attempting to smuggle 1.330 packs of cigarettes.
This morning, officers from the Ulcinj Border Police Station, together with officers from the Customs Administration, checked the driver of the Volkswagen with Albanian license plates at the Sukobin border crossing, at the entrance to Montenegro.
"A search of the vehicle found and confiscated 1.330 packs of cigarettes, hidden under the hood and inside the vehicle driven by the named individual," the Police Directorate announced.
The State Prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Ulcinj ordered EA to be arrested on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of smuggling.
