Interpol Podgorica officers, with the assistance of colleagues from the Special Police Unit, carried out the extradition of Montenegrin citizen Rajko Baćović (57), from Hungary to Montenegro.
The Police Directorate announced that an international arrest warrant has been issued for Baćović by the Interpol NCB Podgorica based on an order from the Nikšić Basic Court.
"To serve a ten-month prison sentence to which he was finally sentenced for the crimes committed: serious bodily harm and failure to comply with health regulations for the suppression of a dangerous infectious disease," the statement said.
It is added that last night, police officers took Baćović to the Directorate for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions to serve his prison sentence.
