Pilot VV (68) from Nikšić was killed in a plane crash that occurred at Kapino Polje near Nikšić.
As "Vijesti" has learned, a sports glider piloted by an instructor from the Nikšić Aero Club crashed at the Kapino Polje sports airport, where the Aero Club hangar is located.
Eyewitnesses to the tragedy told the police that the single-seater aircraft, in which the pilot instructor VV was, fell to the ground uncontrollably during the climb. The cause of the tragedy will be determined during the investigation of the air crash.
Based on eyewitness accounts, those familiar with the situation assume that a malfunction in the glider probably caused the tragedy. The pilot-instructor who died had been in aviation for many years and had extensive flying experience.
