JF from Rožaje was arrested after the police found drugs on him, the Police Directorate (UP) announced today.
The statement states that JF is an operationally interesting person (OIL).
"In continuation of intensified activities to prevent and detect all forms of drug abuse, with a special emphasis on street drug sales in the territory under the jurisdiction of the Regional Security Center 'North', police officers in Rožaje deprived of their liberty a person of operational interest in whom narcotics were found. Namely, due to suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotics, a person of operational interest, JF from Rožaje, was deprived of his liberty," the statement states.
The UP added that it is suspected that JF sold two small packages containing suspected cocaine to a person for money, which were found.
"With a criminal complaint, he will be brought before the prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Bijelo Polje for further jurisdiction within the legal deadline," the statement reads.
