The police seized an Audi car driven by German citizen MLR (28) at the Dobrakovo border crossing point, after it was determined that the vehicle was wanted by the German Interpol NCB, the Police Directorate (UP) announced today.
"Officers of the Regional Border Police Center 'North' checked a citizen of the Republic of Germany, MLR (28), at the Dobrakovo border crossing, who was driving an Audi vehicle, model SQ7, with German license plates," the statement said.
The UP added that, in cooperation with a Frontex officer, a vehicle inspection was carried out, after which, by checking the data through the NCB Interpol Podgorica, it was determined that the car was wanted by the NCB Interpol Germany.
"The vehicle in question was temporarily seized and handed over to the Bijelo Polje Security Department for further jurisdiction and processing," the UP said.
