Police officers arrested AR (28) in Tivat, suspected of abusing her position in business and embezzling around 1,3 thousand euros from the facility where she was employed.
The Police Directorate announced that the owner of the catering facility reported that an employee had misappropriated around 1,3 thousand euros in merchandise.
Police officers from the Tivat police undertook activities within their jurisdiction and collected information from the reported AR from Serbia.
"The prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor was informed of the event, who stated that AR's actions constitute elements of the criminal offense of abuse of position in business and that he should be deprived of his liberty," the statement said.
The Police Directorate stated that AR, along with a criminal report, was brought before the acting prosecutor for further proceedings within the legal deadline.
