The trial of former Prime Minister and leader of the Civic Movement (GP) URA Dritan Abazović continued today at the Basic Court in Ulcinj, following a lawsuit filed by the company "Bemax" for compensation for non-pecuniary damage.
The hearing was attended by legal representatives of "Bemax" and Abazović, Zoran Piperović and Gzim Hadžibeti.
Judge Gazmend Kalabrezi scheduled the trial to continue on February 12, by which time Piperović should submit a report from the Ministry of Justice stating that no criminal proceedings have been or are being conducted against the company "Bemax" and its executive director.
"The judge also asked me to submit a report on the decline in Bemax's turnover because Abazović said what he said. I promised to submit a report that turnover has been significantly lower since then than Bemax achieved, which is the result of exactly what Abazović has been relentlessly repeating for the last three years and concerns the company 'Bemax'," Piperović told "Vijesti" after the hearing.
