Podgorica police arrested and filed criminal charges against LU (18) from that city on suspicion of breaking into a house and stealing a television and an external air conditioning unit, the Police Directorate (UP) announced today.
According to the statement, he is suspected of the crime of aggravated theft.
"Namely, LU (18) was deprived of his liberty, who, as is suspected, committed the act he is charged with by coming to the injured party's house late one evening, where he opened the front door of the house with the help of a suitable tool. He entered the interior of this building, ransacked it, and then stole a television, as well as the indoor and outdoor air conditioning units," the UP statement states.
The police added that the stolen items were found and returned to the owner.
They added that LU will be brought before the acting prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica today for further jurisdiction.
