On the occasion of the tragic accident that occurred on Saturday at Savin Kuk, the Mayor of Žabljak, Radoš Žugić, met with the Chargé d'Affaires of the German Embassy, Ralf Rojš, and the Economic Policy Advisor at the Embassy, Enis Čindrak, announced the Municipality of Žabljak.
At the meeting, Žugić expressed deep condolences over the accident in which a German citizen lost his life, while his wife suffered serious injuries. The interlocutors expressed sincere regret for this tragic event and sympathy for the victim's family, with a joint message of solidarity in difficult times, the statement added.
The conversation, as stated by the Municipality of Žabljak, emphasized the importance of institutional cooperation and communication, as well as respect for the jurisdiction of all involved authorities in dealing with this event.

"Such events deeply affect the entire community and require a serious, humane and responsible approach," said Žugić.
Rojš thanked the President of the Municipality of Žabljak for the meeting and the attention shown.
"The tragic accident on the cable car that occurred on Saturday at Savin Kuk has deeply shaken us all. I thank the Mayor of Žugić for today's meeting and the solidarity shown. I also want to express my gratitude to the rescue services and medical staff for an extremely demanding and professionally executed undertaking," said the Chargé d'Affaires at the German Embassy.
The meeting confirmed the readiness for further communication and cooperation between the Municipality of Žabljak and the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, with a joint expression of condolences and respect for the victim's family, the statement concluded.
