The property of former BiH Minister of Security Nenad Nešić has been seized in Montenegro.
The Special State Prosecutor's Office announced that the High Court in Podgorica, by its decision Kvs No. 397/25, dated December 16 this year, rejected as unfounded the appeal filed in favor of the defendant Nešić, for the continued criminal offense of money laundering, and his wife and brother MN and PN.
The appeal against the decision of the investigating judge of that court, dated March 17 this year, which, at the proposal of the Special State Prosecutor's Office, imposed a temporary security measure on their immovable property, was rejected, because there is a reasonable suspicion that it was acquired through criminal activity.
"This effectively prohibits the defendant from disposing of two luxury apartments in Tivat, measuring 163,55 and 182,46 m2, with two garage spaces, his wife from disposing of an apartment in Budva, measuring 74 m2, with a garage, and his brother from disposing of a building plot measuring 1395 m2, in Buljarice, with all prohibitions recorded in the real estate cadastre," the SDT announced.
On the orders of the Prosecutor's Office, the former Minister of Security in the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina was arrested exactly a year ago.
Nešić was then arrested with several other people on suspicion that, as managers of JP Putevi RS, they had committed the criminal offenses of money laundering and abuse of official position....
