Officers of the Regional Security Center North, as part of the national operation "Firecrackers", seized over five thousand pieces of pyrotechnic devices intended for illegal trade in the area of Bijelo Polje and Berane.
The Police Directorate announced that officers from the security departments of Bijelo Polje and Berane, after visiting localities and facilities in those cities, seized a total of 5.334 pieces of technical equipment of various types from KK, HZ, F.Ć. and VR.
It is alleged that the acting state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office requested that criminal charges be filed against KK from Berane on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of illicit trafficking.
"The state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Bijelo Polje will subsequently make a statement on the qualification of the offense in relation to the persons HZ, F.Ć. and VR," the statement added.
