In recent days, the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica has ordered the deprivation of liberty and detention of four people due to reasonable suspicion that they have committed criminal offenses within the jurisdiction of this prosecutor's office.
"The suspect JB was detained due to reasonable suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of endangering security, by threatening the injured parties NG and LB with the words: 'Tell me where you are, send me the location, now I'm coming to get you a bullet, I'll kill your family', as a result of which the injured parties felt fear and insecurity," the Podgorica Public Prosecutor's Office announced.
They add that the suspect was detained due to the risk of completing the criminal act he is threatening, as well as the risk of influencing witnesses who need to be questioned in the further course of the proceedings.
"The minor BP was detained due to reasonable suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of theft, in that on December 20, 2025, in Cetinje, in the 'House of Chemistry', he stole money in the amount of 1.150 euros. The detention was ordered due to the risk of repeating the criminal offense, bearing in mind that several proceedings are being conducted against the suspect for similar criminal offenses."
The Podgorica State Prosecutor's Office announced that BM was detained due to reasonable suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of domestic violence or violence in the family community.
"The suspect is charged with inflicting minor bodily harm on his common-law wife on December 25, 2025, in their shared apartment, by hitting her with the bottom of a glass, and then punching her several times in the legs and stomach, which caused her injuries. Detention was ordered due to the risk of reoffending."
BK was detained due to reasonable suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of coercion:
"By threatening to kill him, he forced a minor to take him on a motorcycle from Dajbab to the INA gas station near Delta, and to wait for him there until his return. In the meantime, the suspect committed petty theft at the said gas station, after which the injured party left the scene. The suspect was detained due to the fact that he is a multiple repeat offender," the Podgorica Public Prosecutor's Office said in a statement.
