The Police Directorate announced that officers from the Podgorica Security Department collected information from all persons who were brought to that police station, and who today in Botun, at the site where the construction of a wastewater treatment plant is planned, prevented officers from the Municipal Police from carrying out their official duties and refused to act on the orders of officers from the Police Directorate.
"All persons were released without detention. Also, MP Milan Knežević voluntarily left the police vehicle for group transport of persons, which he had previously entered on his own initiative in the same manner," the police announced.
They previously announced that 54 people were brought to the police station and that the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica was informed that information was being collected on the circumstances of the event.
