Beranac ML (19) will be held criminally liable on suspicion of committing a criminal offense - facilitating the consumption of narcotic drugs.
The police in that city, as announced, filed a criminal complaint against him "in accordance with planned activities aimed at combating drug abuse with a focus on combating street drug sales."
"He committed the act he is charged with, as is suspected, by allowing three other people to consume the narcotic drug marijuana while in his passenger vehicle," the Police Directorate announced.
The prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Berane qualified the offense as a crime and the police, on his order, filed criminal charges against ML.
In addition, the Berane police filed misdemeanor charges against six individuals - RA, NK, HL, VK, I.Đ. and PK, for violations of the Law on the Prevention of Drug Abuse.
"Officers of the Police Directorate continue their intensified activities to combat all forms of crime, with an emphasis on combating drug abuse in the form of street sales, in order to maintain a stable security situation in the country and preserve the health of citizens," the statement reads.
