Border police arrested Vietnamese citizen LMA (24) on suspicion of committing a criminal offense - forgery of a document.
Officers of the Regional Border Police Center "Centar" at the Podgorica Airport border crossing, on a flight operating on the Istanbul - Podgorica route, checked a female person who presented a travel document - a Hong Kong passport in the name of LY (22).
As announced by the institution, police officers already at the front line of border control suspected the authenticity and correctness of the passport, which is why a detailed border check was carried out, which determined that it was a forged document.
"A search of the named person revealed a hidden original passport, based on which the person was identified as LMA (24), a citizen of Vietnam. After the investigation and information collected from the person, the state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica was informed of the incident, who ordered that LMA be deprived of liberty on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of forging a document," the Police Directorate announced.
