Podgorica police arrested three Chinese women suspected of being involved in prostitution.
As announced by the Police Directorate, decisions have been made to ban their entry into Montenegro for the next three years.
"Police officers of the Podgorica Security Department, through operational work in the field and taking measures and actions to detect, prevent and suppress illegal activities, violations and all forms of sexual exploitation, in the City Quarter part of the city, identified and located three female persons in an apartment who were engaged in the aforementioned activities - HH (42), ZD (40) and GH (43), citizens of the People's Republic of China," the police announced.
It is added that they were deprived of their liberty for prostitution in a public place or actions that incite prostitution and were brought to the jurisdiction of the Minor Offences Court in Podgorica.
"Given that the Chinese citizens were illegally residing on the territory of Montenegro, the police inspector for foreigners imposed repressive measures on them - decisions were issued on their return with a deadline to leave Montenegro by January 14, 2026. At the same time, these persons were also banned from entering Montenegro for three years," the statement reads.
