Podgorica police arrested four people suspected of the crimes of robbery, aggravated theft and theft.
The police arrested JH (29) on suspicion of having committed the crime of robbery.
"It is suspected that on January 6, 2026, in a park in Podgorica, he approached the injured party and struck him several times on the head and body, causing him to fall to the ground, where he continued to hit him, and then took his coat off his body and stole his clothes and mobile phone headphones from his backpack. After that, he tried to steal the injured party's money and mobile phone, which he failed to do," the Police Directorate announced.
MA (60) was also arrested on suspicion of committing the crime of aggravated theft against one person.
"It is suspected that MA entered the unlocked apartment of the injured party yesterday in a residential building in Podgorica and stole a wallet containing 1.500 euros from one of the rooms, which she then threw away while fleeing," it was announced.
The police also arrested VN (37) on suspicion that at the end of December 2025, he forcibly entered two business premises and stole around 650 euros.
"ML (47) was arrested on suspicion of committing the crime of theft against a construction company in Podgorica. It is suspected that at the end of December 2025, ML drove his vehicle to the construction site of the aforementioned company and stole power tools worth around 250 euros, which police officers found and returned to the owner," the police statement reads.
