Officers from the Ulcinj Border Police Station found hidden tobacco in an SA vehicle from that city.
"Yesterday, acting in accordance with operational information, police officers in the town of Kravari carried out a control of a Toyota passenger vehicle, driven by SA from Ulcinj. They found 20 packages of cut tobacco hidden in the trunk, under the upholstery, weighing a total of 20 kilograms," the Police Directorate announced.
SA, it is added, did not possess documentation for possession of tobacco, nor a license to sell it.
"The state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Ulcinj was informed about everything, and he stated that the elements of the criminal offense of illicit trade were met in SA's actions. The prosecutor ordered that the tobacco be confiscated and that criminal charges be filed against the person in regular proceedings," it was announced.
