Border police at the Podgorica Airport border crossing found ammunition on four people.
As announced by the Police Directorate, ammunition was also found on a 14-year-old minor.
The ammunition was found during a detailed check of passengers and luggage on various flights, and criminal charges were filed against all of them with the competent prosecutor's office.
"During the inspection of the hand and separate luggage of Montenegrin citizens PM (49), M. Š. (53) and a 14-year-old minor, police officers found and confiscated a small amount of 7,62 mm and 9 mm ammunition. During the inspection of Serbian citizen SB (55), police officers also found ammunition, a 7,62 mm bullet, inside the jacket," the police announced.
Upon the order of the acting state prosecutors at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, after collecting information, criminal charges were filed against PM, M. Š., SB and a minor on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosives.
