A 20-year-old OB from Podgorica was arrested on suspicion of attempting to steal an air conditioner from a house and attacking the owner.
He was arrested on the orders of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, on suspicion of committing a criminal offense - robbery.
"It is suspected that on Saturday, January 10, 2026, in the early morning hours, he came to the victim's house and tore the external air conditioning unit from the wall, which he tried to steal. When he was noticed by the victim, who tried to stop him, OB struck him several times with a suitable object in the body, after which he threw the air conditioning unit away and left the scene. He was soon identified, located, and then deprived of liberty on suspicion of committing the aforementioned crime," the Police Directorate announced.
The suspect was brought to the ODT today.
