The Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Bijelo Polje ordered the detention of EK from that city for up to 72 hours on suspicion of committing the crime of domestic violence or violence in a family community.
As announced, the Police Directorate - Security Department (OB) Bijelo Polje filed a criminal complaint against EK today, due to reasonable suspicion that the day before, using a knife, he threatened his wife with death.
According to the report, on January 11 at around 14 p.m. at the family home, the suspect threatened his wife and forced her to drive away with him. During the drive, he is suspected of making multiple death threats, demanding that she choose between her own life and that of her friend, as well as whether he would kill her or she would jump into the Lim River herself.
According to the prosecution, the vehicle was stopped on a bridge in Strojtanica, where the suspect asked the injured party to call the children and say goodbye to them, after which she managed to get out of the vehicle and call the police.
