Tivat police have filed a criminal complaint against AK from that city on suspicion that, as an employee of a sports betting company, she gambled away money entrusted to her disposal, the Police Directorate (UP) announced today.
"The police officers of the Regional Security Center 'South', Tivat Security Department, were yesterday reported by the manager of a sports betting company whose branch is located in that city that an employee there had irresponsibly disposed of the funds entrusted to her and had gambled away money in the amount of over 3.600 euros, so the police officers took measures and actions within their jurisdiction," the UP statement said.
The police added that AK was summoned to the official premises and that information was collected from her for the record, and the prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor was informed of the event, who qualified the crime as abuse of position in business operations to the detriment of the aforementioned sports betting - slot machine club.
"A criminal complaint was filed against AK in regular proceedings, at the order of the acting basic state prosecutor," the UP statement reads.
