AD (35), a person of operational interest, was arrested on suspicion of stealing a mobile phone worth around 1.000 euros from a retail store in Tivat, the Police Directorate (PD) announced today.
The statement states that an employee of a retail store selling technical equipment and mobile phones reported to the Tivat police that a mobile phone worth around 1.000 euros was stolen from the store where he was employed.
The Tivat Police Department said that Tivat police officers suspected that the phone was stolen by AD (35), a person of operational interest, and, as added in the statement, a statement was collected from him at the official premises of the Tivat Security Department on the circumstances of this event.
"The prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor was informed of the incident, and on whose order this person of operational interest was deprived of liberty on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of theft to the detriment of the above-mentioned business entity. He was brought before the acting prosecutor for further jurisdiction, along with a criminal report, within the legally prescribed period," the UP statement reads.
