Two citizens of Serbia and Kosovo were arrested on suspicion of committing thefts in Bar, the Police Directorate (UP) announced today.
The statement states that citizens of Serbia and Kosovo were arrested last night, and that the crimes were committed in the past 24 hours.
"Police officers of the Bar Security Department, after conducting a criminal investigation and collecting information, on the order of the state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Bar, deprived Kosovo citizens GR (24) and AD (25) of their liberty on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of theft, to the detriment of a natural person. It is suspected that on January 12, they stole a vehicle that was parked near a catering facility in the territory of Bar, and then sold it at a secondary raw materials waste dump in Ulcinj," the statement states.
The UP added that the suspects were located and brought to the police in Bar last night by officers of the Ulcinj Security Department, pursuant to a local warrant.
"Also, the police found a stolen vehicle in Ulcinj last night, which was returned to the owner," the statement reads.
The UP said that, on the order of the state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Bar, police officers arrested Serbian citizens Dž.A. (23) and SS (27) on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of aggravated theft, to the detriment of a retail facility.
"They are suspected of breaking into the building this morning, after midnight, using a suitable tool, and stealing several pieces of soft drinks. Police officers quickly identified these individuals and then located them while fleeing in the Šušanj neighborhood," the UP said.
