Police in Bar and Ulcinj seized six electronic terminals used for organizing games of chance last night, the Police Directorate (UP) announced today.
"Police officers of the Regional Security Center 'South', in cooperation with officers of the Ministry of Finance - Gaming Inspectorate and in coordination with the basic state prosecutor's offices in Bar and Ulcinj, conducted a joint action last night to control and suppress the unauthorized organization of gaming," the UP statement reads.
As stated in the statement, on that occasion, officers from the security departments of Bar and Ulcinj, in cooperation with the competent inspection, inspected seven catering facilities on the territory of the aforementioned municipalities.
"Police officers in Bar and Ulcinj, during the inspection of catering facilities, and upon the order of the acting prosecutors, temporarily seized six electronic terminals for organizing games of chance for the purpose of further checks and necessary expert assessments, for which the owners of the facilities did not possess the necessary documentation from the competent authorities for carrying out the activity," the statement states.
The police added that police officers have collected information from the owners of the facilities, which, along with the entire case files, will be submitted to the state prosecutors' offices in Bar and Ulcinj for assessment and action.
