The Tivat police have filed a criminal complaint against LR (20) on suspicion that on January 1st of this year, while intoxicated, he caused serious bodily injury to a man, the Police Directorate (UP) announced today.
"Officers of the Regional Security Center 'South', Tivat Security Department, have, by undertaking intensive activities, shed light on the event of January 1, 2026, when a person suffered serious bodily injuries on the Pine promenade. Namely, on January 1, at around 2 am on the Pine promenade in Tivat, in an intoxicated state, without any prior conflict or disagreement, a then unknown person physically attacked the injured party, striking him in the head, after which the injured party fell to the ground, and this person struck him again, also in the same area," the UP statement states.
The police added that on that occasion the injured party suffered a serious physical injury, a fractured nasal bone, which was noted and described in the report of the specialist doctor who examined this person at the Kotor Clinical Hospital Center.
"Tivat police officers undertook intensive activities to shed light on this event, informed the prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor about everything, who qualified the crime as serious bodily harm, and through comprehensive field actions they came to the conclusion that the perpetrator of this crime was LR (20)," the UP statement said.
