Nikšić police arrested a 15-year-old minor on suspicion of insulting and threatening police officers, the Police Directorate (UP) announced today.
"Police officers of the Nikšić Security Department, acting on the order of the state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Nikšić, deprived a 15-year-old minor of his liberty on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of assault on an official in the performance of official duty, to the detriment of police officers," the UP statement said.
The police added that while collecting information in the official premises of the Nikšić Security Department, the suspect repeatedly addressed insulting and threatening words to police officers.
"The minor was taken to the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Nikšić within the legal deadline for further jurisdiction, after which he was ordered into custody by a decision of the Basic Court in Nikšić, and was taken to the Directorate for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions in Spuž," the UP statement concluded.
