Nikšić police arrested ZP (46) from that city on suspicion of domestic or family violence.
As announced by the Police Directorate, their officers, acting on a report of domestic violence, searched the apartment and other premises owned by ZP (46) and found and temporarily seized a "Češka zbrojovka" pistol.
The police statement states that ZP did not have the necessary documentation.
"After the official measures and actions taken, the state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Nikšić was informed of the event, who ordered that ZP be deprived of his liberty on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of domestic violence or violence in the family community. In relation to the found firearm, the state prosecutor will subsequently declare the legal qualification of the offense, after conducting expert examinations and collecting additional information," the police announced.
