The Bar police have filed a criminal complaint against a DO (35) from that city, from whom three gaming terminals were seized, and he is suspected of two criminal offenses.
"Police officers of the Bar Security Department, in continuation of the activities during which, in cooperation with officers of the Ministry of Finance - Inspectorate for Games of Chance, they previously confiscated three electronic terminals for organizing games of chance in Bar, for which the owners of the facilities did not possess the necessary documentation from the competent authorities, filed a criminal report against one person with the competent prosecutor's office. Namely, after assessing the case file, the acting state prosecutor of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Bar ordered police officers to file a criminal report against the person DO (35) from Bar with this prosecutor's office, on suspicion that he committed the criminal offenses of unauthorized engagement in economic, banking, stock exchange and insurance activities and unauthorized organization of games of chance," the Police Directorate announced.
It is suspected that DO committed these criminal offenses by performing commercial catering activities and organizing games of chance, using three terminals for games of chance, within a catering facility in Bar, without registration and approval and contrary to the prescribed conditions, without prior consent from the competent authorities, thereby causing material damage to the state budget.
