A BMW car, model X3 M, with Podgorica license plates, was temporarily seized from RB (33) from Herceg Novi, a member of an organized crime group (OKG), for further legal checks, the Police Directorate (UP) announced today.
The statement states that over the weekend, Herceg Novi police officers conducted increased activities aimed at preventing and detecting criminal offenses, increasing the level of security, as well as suppressing the activities and controlling members of organized crime groups (OCG), persons of operational interest, and persons associated with and close to them.
"On that occasion, a targeted control was carried out of a catering facility in Portonovo, the tenant of which is a member of an OKG, during which two persons of operational interest were controlled - members of an organized criminal group - RB (33) and NZ (28) from Herceg Novi. A high-class vehicle, the BMW brand, model X3 M, with Podgorica license plates, was temporarily seized from RB, for further legal checks," the statement reads.
The UP said that RB and NZ are registered in police records as returnees in the commission of criminal offenses with elements of organized crime, violence, abuse of firearms and narcotics, as well as property crimes.
