Podgorica resident KK (33) was arrested after police found cocaine on him, which was suspected to be intended for street sale.
"In continuation of comprehensive repressive activities aimed at detecting, suppressing and prosecuting criminal offenses related to drug abuse, as well as dismantling the network of street dealers in the territory of the Capital City, officers of the Podgorica Security Department last night searched the person KK (33) and found cocaine on him. On that occasion, 10 small PVC packages containing a white powdery substance resembling the narcotic drug cocaine were found and seized from the named person, which, as suspected, were intended for further street sale," the Police Directorate announced.
They said that KK was arrested on the orders of the state prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, after conducting a criminal investigation and collecting the necessary information, and on suspicion of having committed a criminal offense - unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs.
