The Berane police filed a criminal complaint against Dž.S. from Rožaje for illegal trafficking.
"The Berane police inspected a vehicle driven by Dž.S. from Rožaje, when a large quantity, or rather several pieces of tools with a market value of over four thousand euros, was found, which he possessed and transported for the purpose of further sale," the Police Directorate said in a statement.
The prosecutor was informed of the incident and stated that the actions of this person constituted elements of the criminal offense of illicit trafficking, and criminal charges were filed against him in regular proceedings.
The Berane police, as announced, are implementing intensified planned activities aimed at suppressing the gray economy and preventing illegal trade in all types of goods.
Undertaking targeted controls to combat the shadow economy, as well as other forms of crime, will continue to be the focus of officers of the Regional Security Center North.
