The Plav police have filed criminal charges with the local Basic State Prosecutor's Office against two minors suspected of vehicle theft, the Police Directorate announced.
It is suspected that the minors, aged 17 and 14, noticed that the VW Golf vehicle was unlocked in the parking lot of the Plav Bus Station on the night between Thursday and Friday, and that they entered the vehicle, started it and drove away in an unknown direction.
"The owner of the AD reported his vehicle missing to the police on Friday. Police officers quickly investigated the reported incident and identified and found those responsible," the police statement said.
They stated that the vehicle was found and returned to the owner.
