Three people arrested, cocaine, heroin and ecstasy found

Officers from the Kotor Security Department arrested three people last night and seized cocaine, heroin and ecstasy during increased traffic control, the Police Directorate announced.

As reported, the Kotor police, in the town of Radanovići, controlled and removed from traffic the driver RB (43), a Croatian citizen residing in Tivat, who refused to undergo testing for the presence of psychoactive substances in his body.

"On that occasion, a passenger in the vehicle, SV (43), a Serbian citizen, residing in Tivat, was also checked, and two bags containing 15 yellow and purple tablets, resembling the synthetic drug ecstasy, were found on him, as well as one PVC bag containing the narcotic drug heroin," the statement said.

The police said that RB was arrested for committing a violation under the Road Traffic Safety Act, and SV for committing a violation under the Drug Abuse Prevention Act.

The statement states that, in the town of Radanovići, the driver NV (39) from Kotor was also checked, as he was driving a vehicle without license plates and refused to submit to testing for the presence of psychoactive substances in his body.

"Two PVC bags containing cocaine and heroin were found in his possession," the statement added.

The police said that NV was arrested for committing a violation of the Road Traffic Safety Act, and that a misdemeanor charge was also filed against him for a violation of the Drug Abuse Prevention Act.
