SF (18) from Bijelo Polje was arrested in Budva on suspicion of street drug trafficking, the Police Directorate (UP) announced today.
The statement states that Budva police officers last night checked SF (18) from Bijelo Polje, residing in Budva, near a catering facility.
"During the control, police officers found five small PVC packages containing green plant matter suspected of being the narcotic drug marijuana, as well as two small PVC packages containing a powdery white substance suspected of being the narcotic drug cocaine. In addition, a means of communication and a knife were seized from the SF on this occasion," the statement states.
The UP added that Budva police officers suspected that SF was selling narcotics on the street and that for these reasons he was in possession of narcotics.
"The prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica was informed of the incident, on whose order SF was deprived of liberty on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs. He will be brought to the acting prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica for further jurisdiction within the legally prescribed period, along with a criminal report," the UP said.
