During a search of the apartment used by MK (31) from Nikšić, two Zastava hunting rifles were found and seized, one of which was without valid documentation, while the other was registered in the name of another person, as well as 13 pieces of hunting ammunition, the Police Directorate announced.
The police said that their officers from the Regional Security Center "West" - Nikšić Security Department yesterday carried out preventive and repressive activities aimed at suppressing and seizing illegal weapons and ammunition, as well as preventing the misuse of firearms, and on that occasion they conducted searches at several locations in the territory of the Nikšić municipality.
After the information was collected, the state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Nikšić was informed about the event, who will subsequently make a statement on the legal qualification of the act.
