The Berane police filed a criminal complaint against DK (35) from that city, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosives.
"A search of the apartment and other premises used by DK (35) from Berane found a hunting rifle, 81 rounds of ammunition, a gas pistol with 10 rounds of ammunition, two automatic rifle frames, a trombone attachment, an attachment for maneuver ammunition and four knives. The prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Berane was informed about this incident, who ordered that the seized items be sent for appropriate expert examinations at the Forensic Center in Danilovgrad, and that after their conduct, criminal charges be filed against DK on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosives," the Police Directorate announced.
They said that, in relation to the found gas pistol, Beranc was issued a misdemeanor warrant pursuant to the Weapons Act.
In addition, the Berane police, during a search of LK (39) from Plav, found and confiscated 30 pills from the list of opiates without accompanying documentation.
The prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Bijelo Polje stated that LK's actions do not constitute elements of a criminal offense, and a request will be filed against him to initiate misdemeanor proceedings for violations of the Law on the Prevention of Drug Abuse.
