Deputy Prime Minister Aleksa Bečić announced that 27 police officers have been suspended in accordance with the law in the past month.
"Every illegality must be sanctioned. Every unauthorized influence must be neutralized. Attacks on the director of the Police Administration (Lazar Šćepanović) by structures that fear the rule of law and every attempt to stop vetting are doomed to failure. Vetting is the law. Vetting is the foundation. Vetting is the basis for the healing of society. Without purification, there is no healing," Bečić announced.
