In an extensive operation, police searched and seized weapons, silicone masks and a large amount of ammunition this morning in northern Montenegro.
According to unofficial information from "Vijesti", this was found during searches of members of organized crime groups (OKG) and persons associated with them.
The campaign is being implemented in the north of Montenegro in several municipalities.
The Police Directorate officially announced that they conducted a total of 11 searches at 11 locations, and that four rifles, a pistol, 626 rounds of ammunition, 463 pills that are on the list of narcotics, silicone masks, an optical sight, a certain amount of cocaine and marijuana, knives, as well as a high-class vehicle used by a person of operational interest were seized.
In Plav, during a search of the apartment and other premises used by CH, the police found and seized - an "arsenal" rifle, model SRL-95, caliber 7,62mm, with an optical sight and a flashlight with one ammunition frame, a CZ 513 rifle, caliber 22mm with an optical sight; a model 98 rifle, caliber 7,9mm with an ammunition frame; a rifle of unknown brand with an ammunition frame; a CZ 5-10F pistol, caliber 9mm with two frames; an ammunition frame from an automatic rifle; an optical sight; 626 pieces of ammunition of different brands and calibers; three knives with holsters; three 3-hand radios brand RETCV15; and a metal detection device.
"The seized firearm is in illegal possession. CH was deprived of his liberty on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosives, and he will be brought before the acting state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Plav with a criminal complaint," the police announced.
During a search of the apartment and other premises used by a person of operational interest, MM from Berane, in Berane, the police found and temporarily seized three silicone masks, an irritant spray, and a metal box.
The state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Berane was informed about the event.
A vehicle was also checked, which, according to the police, was driven by a person of operational interest, MT from Rožaje.
"It is a high-class BMW vehicle, with Ulcinj license plates, which was seized for inspection. The state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Berane has been informed about the incident."
The police say that a search of the apartment used by AH from Berane found 189 pills that are on the list of opiates.
"Forensic processing determined that the tablets in question belonged to her husband RH, who did not have valid documentation for them. A request to initiate misdemeanor proceedings will be filed against the named person within the legally prescribed period," it was announced.
A search of the apartment and other premises in Rožaje, which is used, as announced by the police, by a person close to OIL, SK from Rožaje, found a green substance resembling the narcotic drug marijuana in a certain smaller quantity, as well as 264 tablets that are on the list of opiates, a crusher and a package of rice. SK was arrested and will be brought before the acting judge of the Minor Offences Court in Rožaje, while the acting state prosecutor will subsequently declare the legal qualification of the act in relation to the seized tablets.
"During the inspection of the vehicle, which was driven by OIL, DM from Rožaje, two packages with powdery contents were found, which were preliminarily determined to be cocaine in a certain smaller quantity, and during the inspection of the person NF, also from Rožaje, two paper packages were found, also with the contents of a narcotic drug, which were preliminarily determined to be cocaine. DM was deprived of his liberty for driving under the influence of narcotics and, with a request to initiate misdemeanor proceedings, was taken to the acting judge of the Misdemeanor Court, while a request to initiate misdemeanor proceedings will be filed against NF in accordance with the Law on the Prevention of Drug Abuse within the legally prescribed period," it was announced.
During a search of Bijelo Polje, the apartment and other premises used by LF, who, according to the police, is OIL from Bijelo Polje, 10 tablets on the list of opiates were found and temporarily seized. A request to initiate misdemeanor proceedings will be filed against him within the legally prescribed period.
