A meeting of representatives of the security sector and the judiciary is scheduled for today at noon in the Government building, "Vijesti" has learned unofficially.
The meeting was scheduled by Prime Minister Milojko Spajić.
In addition to Spajić, the meeting should be attended by the Director of the Police Administration Lazar Šćepanović, the President of the Supreme Court Valentina Pavličić, and the Ministers of Internal Affairs and Justice Danilo Šaranović and Bojan Božović.
The Supreme Court previously announced that the aim of the meeting was to discuss current issues of importance for the protection of national security, the integrity of judicial proceedings and the authority of state institutions, as well as to improve institutional cooperation between the judicial and executive branches of government, within the constitutional and legal competences of each body.
Spajić called for a meeting after Miloš Medenica escaped, and announced that he would demand all details regarding the case, in order to determine as soon as possible where the failures occurred and who must bear responsibility for them.
